Cookie Manager

To obtain consent for the use of technically unnecessary cookies on the website, the provider uses a cookie manager.

When the website is called up, a cookie with the setting information is stored on the user’s end device so that the query regarding consent does not have to be made during a further visit.
The cookie is necessary to obtain the user’s legally compliant consent.

The user can prevent or terminate the installation of cookies by changing the settings of his browser.

Cookies

a) Session cookies / session cookies

We use so-called cookies with our Internet presence. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are placed and stored on your terminal device by the Internet browser you use. Through these cookies, certain information from you, such as your browser or location data or your IP address, is processed to an individual extent.

This processing makes our website more user-friendly, effective and secure, as the processing enables, for example, the reproduction of our website in different languages or the offer of a shopping cart function.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit b.) DSGVO, insofar as these cookies data are processed for contract initiation or contract execution.

If the processing does not serve the purpose of contract initiation or contract execution, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. In this case, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.
These session cookies are deleted when you close your internet browser.

b) Third-party cookies

Where applicable, cookies from partner companies with which we cooperate for the purposes of advertising, analysis or the functionalities of our website are also used with our website.
The details of this, in particular the purposes and legal bases of the processing of such third-party cookies, please refer to the following information.

c) Removal option

You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by setting your internet browser. Likewise, you can delete already stored cookies at any time. However, the steps and measures required for this depend on your specific Internet browser used. If you have any questions, please use the help function or documentation of your Internet browser or contact its manufacturer or support. In the case of so-called Flash cookies, however, processing cannot be prevented via the browser settings. Instead, you must change the settings of your Flash player. The steps and measures required for this also depend on the specific Flash player you use. If you have any questions, please also use the help function or documentation of your Flash player or contact the manufacturer or user support.

However, if you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, this may mean that not all functions of our website can be fully used.

Contact requests / contact option

If you contact us via contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your request. The provision of the data is necessary for processing and answering your request – without their provision, we can not answer your request or at best limited.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO.
Your data will be deleted if your request has been answered conclusively and the deletion does not conflict with any legal obligations to retain data, such as in the case of any subsequent contract processing.

Facebook

To advertise our products and services and to communicate with interested parties or customers, we operate a company presence on the Facebook platform.

On this social media platform, we are jointly responsible with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland.
Facebook’s data protection officer can be reached via a contact form:

https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/540977946302970

We have regulated the joint responsibility in an agreement regarding the respective obligations within the meaning of the GDPR. This agreement, from which the mutual obligations arise, is available at the following link:

The legal basis for the processing of personal data that thereby takes place and is reproduced below is Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest is in the analysis, communication and sales and promotion of our products and services.
The legal basis may also be the user’s consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO vis-à-vis the platform operator. The user can revoke this consent for the future at any time by notifying the platform operator in accordance with Art. 7 (3) DSGVO.

When calling up our online presence on the Instagram platform, the user’s data (e.g., personal information, IP address, etc.) is processed by Facebook Ireland Ltd. as the platform operator in the EU.

This user data is used for statistical information about the use of our company presence on Instagram. Facebook Ireland Ltd. uses this data for market research and advertising purposes and to create profiles of users. Based on these profiles, it is possible for Facebook Ireland Ltd., for example, to advertise users within and outside of Instagram based on their interests. If the user is logged into their account on Instagram at the time of the call, Facebook Ireland Ltd. can also link the data with the respective user account.

In the event that the user contacts us via Instagram, the user’s personal data entered on this occasion will be used to process the request. The user’s data will be deleted by us if the user’s inquiry has been conclusively answered and there are no legal retention obligations, such as in the case of subsequent contract processing.

To process the data, Facebook Ireland Ltd. may also set cookies.

If the user does not agree to this processing, it is possible to prevent the installation of cookies by setting the browser accordingly. Cookies that have already been stored can also be deleted at any time. The settings for this depend on the respective browser. In the case of Flash cookies, processing cannot be prevented via the browser settings, but by the corresponding setting of the Flash player. If the user prevents or restricts the installation of cookies, this may mean that not all functions of Facebook can be fully used.
More details about the processing activities, their prevention and the deletion of data processed by Instagram can be found in the Instagram data policy:

It is not excluded that processing by Facebook Ireland Ltd. also takes place via Meta Platforms, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025 in the USA.

LinkedIn

We maintain an online presence on LinkedIn to present our company and our services and to communicate with customers/prospects. LinkedIn is a service of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, a subsidiary of LinkedIn Corporation, 1000 W. Maude Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94085, USA.
In this respect, we would like to point out that there is a possibility that user data may be processed outside the European Union, in particular in the USA. This may result in increased user risks because, for example, access to user data later may not be possible. Later access to the user data can be made more difficult. We also do not have access to this user data. The access option lies exclusively with LinkedIn.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

The Google Analytics service is used to analyze the usage behavior of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our website.

Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time or frequency of visits to our website, is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization function. This function allows Google to truncate the IP address within the EU or EEA.

The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of the visit to our website and the usage activities there. This data may also be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and the use of the Internet.
Google states that it will not associate your IP address with any other data. In addition, Google keeps a record of your IP address at

https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners
Google also provides further information on data protection law, including information on how to prevent the use of data.

In addition, Google offers at

https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

offers a so-called deactivation add-on together with further information on this. This add-on can be installed with the most common internet browsers and offers you further control over the data that Google collects when you visit our website. The add-on tells the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that information about the visit to our website should not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analytics services. If and which other web analytics services are used by us, you will of course also find out in this privacy policy.

Google-Maps

On our website, we use Google Maps to display our location and to create directions. This is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

To enable the display of certain fonts on our website, a connection to the Google server in the USA is established when you access our website.

If you call up the Google Maps component integrated into our website, Google stores a cookie on your terminal device via your Internet browser. In order to display our location and provide directions, your user settings and data are processed. Here, we cannot exclude that Google uses servers in the USA.

In the event that you have given your consent for this processing, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. The legal basis may also be Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in optimizing the functionality of our website.

Through the connection to Google established in this way, Google can determine from which website your request was sent and to which IP address the directions are to be transmitted.

If you do not agree to this processing, you have the option to prevent the installation of cookies by making the appropriate settings in your Internet browser. Details on this can be found above under the item “Cookies”.

In addition, the use of Google Maps and the information obtained via Google Maps is subject to the Google Terms of Use

https://policies.google.com/terms?gl=DE&hl=de und den Geschäftsbedingungen für Google Maps https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.

https://policies.google.com/terms?gl=DE&hl=de and the Terms and Conditions for Google Maps https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.
In addition, Google offers a website at

offers further information.

WhatsApp contact

For contacting, the provider enables the customer, among other things, the contact option via the messenger service WhatsApp. WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland, hereinafter WhatsApp, a subsidiary of Facebook.

Through the user’s communication with the provider via WhatsApp, both the provider and WhatsApp receive the user’s mobile phone number and the information that the user has contacted the provider.

The aforementioned data is also forwarded by WhatsApp to Facebook’s servers in the USA and processed by WhatsApp and Facebook in accordance with the WhatsApp privacy policy, which also includes processing for their own purposes, such as improving the WhatsApp service.

However, in the opinion of the data protection supervisory authorities, the U.S. does not currently have an adequate level of data protection. There are, however, so-called standard contractual clauses:

https://faq.whatsapp.com/general/about-standard-contractual-clauses
However, these are agreements under private law and therefore have no direct impact on the access options of the authorities in the USA.

More information on the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing of this data by WhatsApp and Facebook, as well as related rights and settings options for the protection of privacy, can be found in the WhatsApp privacy policy:
https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/#privacy-policy.

The legal basis for this processing and transmission to WhatsApp is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 b. DSGVO, insofar as the establishment of contact concerns an existing contractual relationship or serves the initiation of such a contractual relationship. If the contact is not based on the above purposes, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The legitimate interest of the provider is to improve the quality of service.
